Hedging

Hedging Services

Many of our clients come to us wishing to hedge their existing portfolios with us or to hedge outside-held portfolios. Our experience in the tactics and behaviors of hedging allows us to craft low-cost or no-cost hedging strategies to your portfolio so that you remain protected during the next downturn.

How it Works

We take a holistic view to hedging. We take into account all of your assets, including real estate, metals, crypto, loans, bonds, and stock, and apply correlation to each asset, beta weighting them all to a single stock position in the S&P 500. From there, we can use our unique skills to craft asymmetrical strategies that pay out upon certain market events.

Low Cost

Our low cost option is designed to provide maximum protection at minimal cost. We start with strategies that are asymmetrical (high payout to cost ratio) and offset some of the costs in other areas. The overall outlay is adjustable and will be set by the client upon hedging account setup.

Since hedging accounts are so variable and specific to the account holder, we invite you to reach out to discuss your unique situation.

No Cost

Our no-cost option provides a solution for clients that truly want protection and do not want to pay for it. Obviously there are trade-offs for this, and the portfolio will have a few “blind spots” which the hedge will not cover (say a 15% selloff over the course of 30 days), but the associated cost will be zero.

Since hedging accounts are so variable and specific to the account holder, we invite you to reach out to discuss your unique situation.
